the aircraft's fuel system. Rotary-wing aircraft have been us-
ing aerial refueling for years. Modifications as such could be
implemented by the OEM. In the case of fixed-wing aircraft,
negotiation is underway, involving parts manufacturers, so
that it is possible to implement relevant mods on larger civil
aircraft, such as Beechcraft King Air, or Air Tractor AT-802.
Undoubtedly, finding the path for civil AAR operations is
a breakthrough. The prospect of modifying one's GA platform
to an AAR standard, and using on-demand AAR services is
a good step forward in aviation. These capabilities are going
to be further explored in the future.
