Day 2 noon
few words about naviga„
tion points
Navigation points are a very important part of this com-
petition, often ignored, because taking another hill is not
as spectacular as rappelling down at another course of fire
but honestly, it's there to drain energy from competitors.
For placement of these point responsible is Borys who
spread them out based on many years of his experience
in torturing people at para-military organization mattings
and torturing himself hiking and going through swamps
and rivers – because that is the layout of these points.
Hills, swamps, small ponds and thick vegetation – it's
all waiting for competitors who want to get to the point
marked by a red board with the symbols engraved (two
letters and a digit). Founding and getting those points
(getting mean to take a photo of both team members with
the board visible on their phone) requires some effort and
navigation skills but it's not a big deal in times of GPS. Ad-
ditionally, these points are not evenly placed so if you want
to take them all and fire most at your shooting window, the
best way is to run (but a fast walk will be enough). It's good
to mention that on the main road we sent Paweł on the
electric motorbike and he was looking for some teams. His
job was to catch any team moving by the road (which was
easy because electric motorbikes are very quiet). Penalty
for that was 30 minutes.
