The flying may be done based on imagery captured by both cameras, along programmed routes. There is also a mode available, where the mission is carried out above the de- signated target area. The new variants of the system have been updated, and feature a mission monitoring mode, across multiple displays simultaneously. Furthermore, should a need as such emerge, it is possible for another ope- rator equipped with a base station to take control of the UAV platform. Additionally, the latest Black Hornet 3 variant features solutions that make it possible to carry out missions in GPS-denied zones and functionality of automatic return of the UAV to the location where the GPS signal has been lost. Teledyne FLIR's offer clearly shows that the company adopts its solutions to requirements defined by user feedback. New developments include a VRS vehicular station for instance.
