DIRECT ACTION In addition to the three loadout bags unveiled a month earlier at SHOT Show 2023 in Las Vegas, Direct Action unveiled the new Lysander medical waistpack and thigh rappelling rope bag – rather a specialty piece for a narrow group of end users but some SMU requested such a bag. Of course, as usually with Direct Action, everything is proudly manufactured in Poland with top notch fabrics and materials. EOTECH The OGL (On the Gun Laser) laser aiming device is an EOTECH latest product, which had its global premie- re in Las Vegas in January. The device, which combines coaligned IR and VIS laser pointers (for simulta- neous windage and elevation adjustments) and a VCSEL technology based IR illuminator with far better beam quality, has a chance to stir up the market for such devices. Single CR123A battery provides up to 9 hours of operation. OGL is really compact (a pack of cigarettes), easy to use and will come with a Modlite ModButton Lite remote switch. HOLOSUN The most „hype" novelty Holosun already showed at the SHOT Show, the DRS sights combining red dots as well as thermal imaging and/or digital night vision! These „AEMS on steroids" are an interesting concept that could stir the market in the future - currently the capabilities of such si- ghts are quite limited, and it is worth noting that this is not the first approach to such systems (vide Steiner CQT and Infiray HLS/FAL19). Holosun unveiled three DRS sights - the DRS-NV with digital night vision, the DRS-TH and the DRS-TH Pro with a thermal imaging camera. They also have additional features, such as digital zoom, video recording and photo taking, and re- al-time video streaming via a USB-C port. The DRS can be powered by 18350 batteries or charged via a USB port. TRADE
