as a good sign, that the program aimed at creating a fleet of MCMVs has been consequently progressing, with broad involve- ment of the domestic industry. The finalization of procurement would result in the commissioning of six vessels grouped in two squadrons based close to ports that bear the key relevance for the Polish economy. Along with other assets, that would make it possible to effectively protect the shipping routes during peaceti- me, crises, or wartime - also, in particular, through addressing the hybrid threats, such as covert minelaying efforts pursued by the enemy, aimed at disruption of shipping routes, and operations clo- se to the ports. Considering the dimension above, which remains broader that the strictly military dimension, one should in particular stress one aspect of the event that happened on February 14th. Along with the representatives of the Armed Forces, uniformed services, and other state organs, a lot of the audience was attracted by the event, and this also includes the media. The event was broadly covered by the media, and it took place at an easily-accessible lo- cation - which had a relevant PR value. Persons who are not tied to the Armed Forces daily could have witnessed the fact that the Polish Navy operates and commissions modern warships. One shall remember that effective Navy PR is far more challenging than similar efforts undertaken by the remaining branches of the Armed Forces.
