In late March 2023, the K2 Black Panther main battle tanks of the 16th Mechanized
Division were sent to a field training facility for the first time, to begin the process
of training for the Polish K2 crews. Orzysz Land Forces Field Training Center has
become the arena for their Polish debut. Andrzej Duda, the Polish President, was
among the observers of the event.
