Between September 15th and 17th 2023, we attended
the annual NATO Days in Ostrava and Czech Air Force
Days. The event is a major defense and security
show - one of the biggest in the region. Overall, it
allows the visitors to gain insight into the Czech and
regional trends and developments in this domain. The
organizers claim that this year's edition has attracted a
crowd of 185 thousand. The event has two dimensions.
On one hand, we are dealing with NATO Days - one of
the biggest defense and security events in CEE, on the
other, it is also known for the inclusion of Czech Air
Force Days - a large, international air show. And the
latter portion of the event in question would be the
main focus of the present report.
