GUARANA Mobile Tactical System At the beginning of the 21st Century, we witnessed the start of a technological revolution in military radio com- munications, with the emergence of the first SDR pro- grams (Software Defined Radio). The state of the art dictates that the SDR system's functionality is not rigidly defined by the hardware, as it can change depending on the waveform software. A single hardware platform can accommodate several different waveforms, thus changing the operational and functional profile of the radio. The SDR technology assu- mes that radio is a kind of computer featuring a radio in- terface. Guarana program envisages the development of a Mobile Tactical System for Wireless Communications (MTSŁB), including: - National, multi-channel, broadband, broad-ran- ge PRDP transportable software-defined radio, along with the implemented waveforms: • ESSOR SCA (SCA 2.2.2 compliance); • MANET Waveform: ESSOR HDR WF (the result of ESSOR); • National GBWF (Guarana Base WF); • KF waveforms covered by STANAG. System for managing and generating cryptographic data, consisting of the following elements: • Crypto Module Hardware platform for the PRDP radio (MKp); • Cryptography Management Center (CZK); • Cryptographic Data Distributor (DDK); • Encryption Data carriers (NDK).
