M1A2 SEP v.3 Abrams main battle tank that would ultima-
tely be operated by the 1st „Warszawska" Armored Briga-
de is the latest variant of the US-made Abrams main bat-
tle tank, and also the most modern main battle tank in the
world. It comes with a 120 mm M256 smooth-bore main
gun, tailored to use all of the latest munition types, inc-
luding programmable rounds. Advanced fire control sys-
tems ensure high levels of lethality. Secondary weapons
include CROWS RCWS fitted with a .50-cal. machine gun,
and two 7.62 mm machine guns. The main battle tank is
characterized by high ballistic and IED/mine protection
levels, ensuring the highest possible protection levels for
