TEXT / PHOTOS: Templar's Gear TEMPLAR'S GEAR is based in Poland and has its own plant where state-of-the-art CAD software, laser cutters and sewing machines are used in the manufacturing process. Only highest quality fabrics such as proprietary lightweight and durable 500D Cordura laminates with NIR treatment, revolutionary CURV self-reinforced thermoplastic composite that provides superior impact resistance and stiffness when compared to conventional plastics, best buckles and accessories are being used in all products. All the tactical gear is designed according to the requirements of end users. The two most widely known personal protective equipment solutions from TEMPLAR'S GEAR are CPC Plate Carrier and CIBV Body Armor Vest. For 2024 they were updated based on cus- tomers feedback from combat use to meet their demands. Both CPC and CIBV share common features and are based on similar geometries, design con- cepts and interchangeable accessories. Great emphasis has been placed on maximum com- CPC4.1 CIBV fort and ergonomics, which can be seen in both the anatomically, 3D-shaped panels and the in- ternal structure improving the air flow and cool- ing in high-stress dynamic situations. Front and rear panels of the CPC and CIBV were designed as an unfolding of the spatial solid, perfectly adapting panels to the human body shape. As a result, the panels properly adhere to the user's body, which guarantees best possible weight distribution. The advanced geometry made it possible to minimize the number of seams, which has a significant impact on the ruggedness and durability. On the inside, each of the panels features a 3D panel with closed-cell foam lined with Coolmax fabric which significantly improves thermal comfort. Excessive moisture is effectively wick- ed away thanks to pre-shaped ventilation tun- nels and Coolmax fibers. In addition, the foam used in production minimizes the risk of abra- sions and bruises from hard ballistic panels, in- creases structural integrity and reduces potential back face deformation. The thoughtful design ensures that pressure points are 45 www.fragoutmag.com EQUIPMENT
