STORY BY: BARTOSZ SZOŁUCHA PHOTO: NORARM, FRAG OUT! TEAM As an intro, a brief note about the NorArm company, whose story is not a typical one. NorArm Tactical was founded in 2019 by Milan, a veteran of the Norwegian army, and Thomas, an active-duty soldier in the Norwegian Home Guard. Many of you may have heard abo- ut Milan a.k.a. Mike, thanks to his activities, which were eventually written up in a 2018 book entitled „Blood Makes the Grass Grow: A Norwegian Volunteer's War Against the Islamic State." Still does not ring a bell? What about @peshmerganor account on insta? Yes, Milan is Mike Peshmerganor, a Norwegian Peshmerga who suppor- ted Kurdish guerrillas in the fight against ISIS! When Milan was just a child, his family fled Kurdistan for Norway. Milan grew up there, then served in the Norwegian military, in the famous elite Telemark batta- lion. When the fighting in Kurdistan began, he felt that his calling was to fight in defense of Kurdish civilians, and without a second thought he traveled to the Middle East. Thanks to his Instagram, many people learned about the ongoing fights and the brutalities committed aga- inst civilians by Islamic fundamentalists. The idea behind the creation of NorArm Tactical was to create hi- gh-end clothing and equipment based on their collective experience. Experience gained on the sun-scorched hills of Afghanistan, the blo- od-stained plains of Iraq and the frigid mountains of Norway. Hence the company's motto „Created from experience." Currently, the company is growing rapidly and conquering more mar- kets. Several well-known tactical celebrities, such as Garand Thumb, have already been seen in their combat clothes. Now the Frag Out! Team has also joined this elite group. Magazine, as NorArm has fur- nished us with several sets of their leading product - the Kandahar uniform. KANDAHAR COMBAT PANTS Kandahar pants are combat pants classic, anatomically shaped (defini- tely not a relaxed cut) so they do not restrict movement during dynamic movements in various conditions. The base material used is a blend of 50% cotton 50% nylon ripstop uniform fabric, but in the gusseted crotch and at the back (upper buttocks), there are stretch fabric panels that increase mobility. Another, the same as a hundred thousand others, pants and combat shirts created from the very same template based on the most popular one developed 20 years ago? Just another „veteran owned" company? Maybe yes, maybe no. Meet NorArm Tactical Kandahar combat uniforms. www.fragoutmag.com
