Corporate Developments Sponsoring and Charity The PGZ Group, after 5 years of interruption, became a strategic sponsor for Air Show Radom 2023. During the record-breaking air show, the Group was presenting its varied potential. On September 14th, 2023, PGZ S.A. acquired more than 90 percent of shares at H. Cegielski S.A., thanks to the fact that share capital was heightened at PGZ by the Treasury. Minister of State Assets issued approval for the PGZ-Cegielski merger. The fusion of WZŁ-2 and PIT-RADWAR was also continued throughout 2023.. As in previous years, PGZ S.A. supported the Buzdygany 2022 awards gala, organized by the "Polska Zbrojna" monthly. Buzdy- gany awards are one of the most important distinctions in military circles. On the occasion of the Feast of the Polish Armed Forces, PGZ also sponsored the "Silna Biało-Czerwona" concert, organ- ized in Giżycko. PGZ Group also supports sporting events. PGZ S.A. sponsored events like the Grom Challenge and Formoze Challenge this year, both have well-founded reputations in our country. In 2023 we were also supporting the veterans. During the MSPO event, the PGZ Foundation, and the Center for Veterans of Op- erations Abroad signed a letter of intent on joint activities that the veterans could benefit from, and on paying tribute to those killed during deployments and missions abroad. The cooperation was launched on the eve of the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf. The PGZ Group remains a strategic partner for the Polish national veteran team, ever since they participated in the games in 2018, financing the participation of competitors coming from outside the Polish Ministry of Defence, and of a group of families and friends, supporting the competitors during the event. The Veterans are also a priority for the PGZ Foundation which, in 2023, supported several initiatives within that scope, including the 1st Veteran Bicycle Rally, V Invictus Run, or the Kask Weterana (Veteran's Helmet) project. The PGZ Foundation continuously supports numerous exter- nal initiatives focused on education, sports, culture, or charity, responding to the ongoing problems, needs, and societal chal- lenges. The projects accomplished in 2023 include healthcare financing for the Neurology Clinic of the Warsaw-based Military Medical Institute, shortening the time needed to introduce effec- tive therapy for people suffering from ischemic stroke. It is worth to highlight the cooperation between the PGZ and Stare Powązki foundations, that made it possible to establish a themed path at the Powązki cemetery, devoted to persons who contributed great- ly to the development of the Polish defense industry. A mobile app is available, that will guide those who are interested, along the cemetery alleys. It is also possible to reserve a walk for student groups and eager individuals. Towards the end of the year, the General Emil "Nil" Fieldorf Home Army Museum project, co-financed by the PGZ Foundation, was finalized. As of November 22nd, 2023, the temporary exhibition "Krajewski Brothers Fighting. Until We Have Power" is present- ed at the museum. Not only is this exhibition special due to the analogies drawn from Steven Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan but also because the members of the Krajewscy family, during the interwar period, were contributing to the successes of the Skarżysko Munitions Factory. PGZ also continued its cooperation with the "Dorastaj z Nami" foundation. Within the framework of that cooperation, two work- shops on mental health support took place, and handbooks were developed. Thanks to the open formula of those activities, the audience, namely families of soldiers, policemen, firefighters, or other public service members, was expanded, also thanks to the online workshops.
