a very enigmatic challenge, forcing us to think, improvise, and deal with a lack of in- formation. In business, this project wouldn't have happened because there would be "too little data." Add in strong personalities, diffe- rent ways of thinking, and a lot of energy. It started coming together once we began li- stening to each other. We created a plan for the next day. I was impressed by how "Ła- such" summarized our section's tasks at the end. It was time to prepare our gear and get some sleep. We'd have to wake up early, as our section was supposed to be in position by 6:00 AM to secure the Wrocław-Poznań section. Wake-up call. A surprise for me. I'll admit I took the easy route because I knew I'd be paired with Marcin, who knew the area, so I didn't really pay much attention to it my- self. I was in for a surprise! "Mariusz, you're in the lead now!" I was informed 15 minutes before we set out. My perspective changed! I checked the map to make sure I knew what I was doing. A valuable lesson! We set off. We took up observation positions, hurrying to get into place, but I encountered a small issue. I had repacked my backpack "lightly" to make it easier to carry, but the shifted we- ight distribution made things harder. On top of that, a few small items fell out of my bot- tom pocket. Frustration hits me, and I lear- ned a lesson: "Success is the sum of perfec- ting the details." We reached our point, and I missed the delivery the second team was supposed to pick up. It was huge, like a barn, and I didn't notice it from the height. Another lesson: stay calm and focused. I tried to stay as still as possible because even the smal- lest movement caused the trees around me to shake. Another lesson: get comfortable, be patient, and don't move too much. Finally, they arrived. We got the signal and returned. The second stage began. We moved to the next point based on coordinates. It seemed like we were simply driving from the lodge to the shooting range, but the road felt diffe- rent. Our alertness increased significantly :) We re- ached the last point before the range. Preparation, safety conditions, and the final task. My team, led by "Łasuch" went left. "Mother's" section moved from the right. I was in the front. We reached the shooting lane and saw the targets. We made sure it was safe to shoot. I got caught up in the atmos- phere, and instead of calmly letting the guys take their positions, I moved right. I heard, "Where are you going?" from the commander and returned to my spot. The targets were hit. We fall back. I hope I managed to convey some of the atmos- phere and emotions. Olek Leydo's photos cap- ture them perfectly. For me, Camp TC was like a springboard in my conscious approach to my shooting training and properly placing it in the hie- rarchy of skills. In line with the philosophy of the "comprehensive", or "end-to-end" shooter, promo- ted by TC, shooting is just part of what you need to demonstrate. Tactics, navigation, fitness, and a cool head are what come in handy. And the camp gives you the chance to experience this on many levels in a nutshell.
