Was it worth coming to Fury?
YES! Darek, Aga and the whole team prepared a
phenomenal competition and a really big applause to all
of them for the hard work they did. The competition sho-
wed me what I need to learn and what I need to impro-
ve. This is a valuable lesson and very useful for me. Will
I return to Fury next year? I don't know, I really don't know.
My first thought upon my return was: I have to go back
and complete it all. Knowing what I need to improve and
having a whole year to prepare I would be able to improve
my score next year (109 out of 194), because the distaste
after not finishing two tracks remains. On the other hand,
the question of finances remains. Yes, shooting is not a
cheap sport, this is a matter of course and we all know it.
Nevertheless, the cost of participation in Fury, relative to
other tactical competitions I have participated in so far,
is quite financially taxing. Especially since registration
coincides with registration for other competitions, which
can hurt the household budget healthily.
Registration for FURIA 2025 is still a few months away,
so I have time to think things over and make a decision.
Somewhere in the back of my mind I can hear a sneer of
laughter coming from the depths of the SWAMP. But may-
be it will be worth going back and silencing that laughter.
