View left side M4 FN IF YOU ARE BASED IN EUROPE AND YOU ARE LOOKING FOR PROBABLY THE BEST POSSIBLE CLONE OF US GOV ISSUED M4 RIFLES, LOOK NO FURTHER, THE FN 15 MILITARY COLLECTOR M4 COMES FROM THE SAME FACTORY AS MILITARY RIFLES. FN 15 MILITARY COLLECTOR M4 www.fragoutmag.com I f you wish to own a piece of fire- arm history from the makers of the world's most battle-proven fire- arms, FN 15 Military Collector M4 is almost a perfect replica of a US military rifle. If you prefer its bigger brother, then FN America has FN 15 Military Collector M16 which resem- bles a M16A4 rifle (check out Frag Out! Magazine #45 for the full story about it). European collectors have limited ac- cess to the rifles which could be used as perfect "clones" of genuine M4A1 with RIS/RAS kit. In Poland, we have available a couple of different M4- style rifles, including Chinese CQ-A, Brazilian Taurus T4, locally made SVRN PAC4, STAG M4, Bushmas- ter M4 Patrolman's and Colt M4 to mention the few. Depending on your preferences and budget limitations, all are essentially a base for building a clone. CQ-A is cheap but ugly, Tau- rus T4 has a non-railed handguard as an early M4's, SVRN has wrong quad-rail. STAG M4 has the wrong barrel length (commercial 16" in- stead of proper 14.5"). Even Colt has non-issue Magpul BUIS included and the polymer handguard. Most of the above-mentioned carbines I had the chance to inspect very carefully and shoot them. What can I say? Well, the M4 is just an M4, a simple carbine with a 14.5" barrel, carbine-length gas system, MIL-SPEC trigger, grip and stock. The differences are in the quality of workmanship and finish, coatings, details (e.g. barrel profile), S T O R Y : M I C H A Ł S I TA R S K I P H O T O : M I C H A Ł S I TA R S K I
