FIREARMS heavy barrel, which changes the ba- lance of the weapon, although the carbine doesn't seem to be heavy on the front. The trigger works identically to that of the M16A4, because it's the same part - resistance of about 3 kg, with no idle movement, with a clear bre- ak, but not requiring the shooter to wrestle with it. Accuracy? While using the Aimpoint red dot, without much problem, you can get about 1.5 MOA accuracy, which is good for a rifle. I checked several types of ammunition and found out that the best was 55gr GGG and PMC, slightly worse 55gr Norma and Fiocchi and similarly 62gr Fiocchi. I will probably try other types of ammunition soon The results show that the well-k- nown tables and charts regarding matching ammunition to thread pitch are, like the Pirate Code, more a set of guidelines than rules. After all, the key thing in all this is the quality of the barrel, and this in FN is very high. On a well-made barrel with 1:7 twist rate, good results can be achieved even on 55 gr round- s(you need to match the round to the barrel, of course), without the need for a heavier bullet. Yes, I also shot at 200 and 300 m - at both distances I managed to get sub 2 MOA, while hitting a 30 cm metal target at 300 m is no problem at all. In my opinion, for a military- -grade weapon, the M4 from FN shoots great.
