housing is still built like a tank from
7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum
with a tough-as-nails Type III hard-
-coat anodized finish in black. Intere-
stingly, Aimpoint managed to shave
off a bit of weight (from 60 grams
to 48 grams), but don't worry, it's
still just as rugged as the ACRO. The
only slight difference is the submer-
sion rating – the COA is good down
to a respectable 25 meters, while
the ACRO P-1/P-2 could handle up
to 30. Slimmer profile also means
less of the optic's body in your sight
