ACCESSORIES to clear a line of sight for an accu- rate shot. Shooting is done from unusual stances, with severely bent elbows, standing on a ladder, at various angles, where you need to effectively manage recoil and muzzle flip during multiple shots. It was then that I became even more convinced that an accessory like the GUNFIGHTER is essential in the work of an operator, as a personal breaching tool for every operator and an emergency tool for a bre- acher. It's a device that can be used to break a window in an emergen- cy or to incapacitate an opponent without causing the weapon to jam. I knew then that such a device is, as our colleagues say, a "must-have." I especially started to miss such an accessory in later years of service when I became a sniper. There were many situations where a window needed to be broken, and we certa- inly wouldn't do that with a precision tool like a sniper rifle with high grade optics. A sniper already has a lot of gear to carry, so why carry another small breaching tool when you al- ways have a pistol on you? Although such a rifle is rugged, I wouldn't risk precision shooting after using its barrel to break a window… That's when I made up my mind. The problem was that in Poland at that time, such tools were rather unavailable, and they finally became popular in the last decade, espe- cially in the last five years. I had a lot of time to shoot with various comps, both during my service, mo- unting them on my service Glock, and privately, since I obtained a fire- arms license. Among others, I used compensators and muzzle devices from Zev Technologies, CGS, PMM – Parker Mountain Machine, Agen- cy Arms, Rex Silentum, and Faxon Firearms. Each of these devices is, of course, noteworthy, but like every- thing, they have their pros and cons.
