to the center platform. After pulling ourselves across, we had to transfer to another line and zipline towards the ground. Then, a sprint to the firing line for a rifle-and-pi- stol sequence, engaging targets from both the right and left shoulders. It was safe and intriguing. Honestly, the horizontal line was a little embarrassing—a small victory over inadequacy, a stage that forged the will... or maybe I'm overstating it! The guys in the Light Division made it look easy and quick—youth, technique, or something like that. Regardless, we couldn't wipe the "banana grin" off our faces. Stage 8: Fast Roping and Cleaning – The Finish Line My old injury was screaming, and the weight of the gear felt like a lead blanket, but we hobbled on to the final Stage 8, "Fast Roping and Cleaning." Just as the name implies: climbing, sliding, and clearing. Fun! We heard competitors cheering. The drill: a speleo ladder (or alter- native ladder) up the container, engaging targets at abo- ut 50 meters—three rounds each on four targets, classic style. Then, a descent via rope or ladder, a short move, and entry into a marked area for rifle and pistol targets. A "Tactical Zigzag": rifle shot, transition to pistol shot, move left, pistol shot, long move right... several times, and then STOP. The 180 seconds were up. Closing the Books: No Prisoners Taken F inally (or maybe, sadly), it was over. The last stage was conquered, the battle was done, but the ca- maraderie continued. The organizers set up a gre- at closing ceremony, culminating at the podium. There were speeches, congratulations, medals, and prizes for the victors! And the truth is, everyone was a winner. Eve- ry person traveled their own path on these stages, grap- pling with their weaknesses or cranking their super-skil- ls up to 11. The organizers executed a fantastic event, creating a safe and high-speed atmosphere for everyone. The ETB series has years of history, runs several times a year, and never takes prisoners. The commitment of the creators is evident at every turn. Remember, this is a "re- gional" match, but its potential could quickly make it the next big fixture on the Polish tactical competition map. That's our wish for them, as both a publication and as hardened tactical shooters. I'll add this: the vibe is positi- vely unique. You can show up for the first time, not know a soul, and walk away feeling like you've just visited your best friends in Silesia! That's all thanks to Marcin, Michał... and all the others who truly care. We will be back! REPORT
