Messerschmitt Messerschmitt and provides solid support for both dynamic and static (e.g., 100 m) shooting. • Handguard: I liked the slim profile, which makes it easy to wrap your hand around for better weapon control during shooting. Its minimal pro- file is also comfortable for shooters with smaller hands. • Trigger: The FCG is a „smoothed" MILSPEC. It's perfectly adequate for both mentioned shooting types, provided you aren't shooting competiti- vely. The factory trigger is fine for „tactical" shooting. Before upgrading the trigger, consider two things: 1. Learn to shoot the rifle in its stock configuration. 2. Determine your primary shooting discipline. For mostly tactical sho- oting, a replacement is unnecessary. Putting a sports-grade trigger into a „tactical" weapon can even be hazardous, risking accidental discharges. • Accuracy: I tested the rifle at 100m with 11 types of ammunition, including heavier rounds. It produced the best groups (around 1.3–1.5 MOA) using common, lighter ammunition. The more expensive, heavier ammo was less accurate. This is a positive, as you don't buy a budget rifle only to spend a fortune on high-end match ammo. FIREARMS
