Conversion
for the MSBS GROT
The second 2025 novelty is a conversion kit that
transforms the MSBS GROT into bull-pup — con-
guration. Note: bull-pup Grots already reached the ci-
vilian market at the end of 2024 as complete rifles with
either 10 or 16 barrels. The conversion kit, however,
lets you convert an existing Grot.
Two conversion standard kits are available on the
market, both containing similar components: a poly
-
mer trigger-housing unit, an aluminum Handguard,
an aluminum buttplate/receiver section, a polymer
cheekpiece/stock cover with a rubber buttpad, and an
aluminum clamp with two screws. The kit also includes
an Allen key for the clamp screws and a small bottle of
thread locker. Everything arrives packed in an attracti
-
ve cardboard box with foam lining; parts are sealed in
blue corrosion-inhibiting plastic bags. The boxes have
nicely designed artwork, with distinct graphics and co-
lor schemes for the 10 and 16 variants.
Both conversions share three core components
— the trigger housing, the butt module, and the clamp
with screws. The Handguards differ in length to suit the
different barrel lengths. The cheekpiece/stock cover
also differs: the 10 kit uses a smaller pad; the 16 kit's
pad is longer and includes an extra cosmetic/ergono
-
mic element.
How it Works?
The conversion turns a standard Grot into a bull-pup
in literally minutes.
First, remove the magazine and check the chamber
is empty. Next, remove all sights stock, trigger housing
and Handguard. There's no need to remove the recoil
spring or the bolt carrier group from the receiver.
Slide the conversion Handguard on: the Handguard's
Picatinny rail engages the receiver rail and is pushed
