REFORGER WAS THE NAME OF THE HISTORIC NATO EXERCISES
HELD FROM 1967–1993, DEMONSTRATIONS OF THE ALLIANCE'S
UNITY AND RESOLVE IN THE FACE OF THREATS FROM THE EAST.
The Warsaw Pact dissolved more than
30 years ago, yet NATO endures and grows
stronger. The last REFORGER exercises took
place in 1993, but in 2026 the name returns in
acompletely different context — as the brand
name of amanufacturer of modern individual
equipment for soldiers.
The brand's founders decided that, in an era
of rising geopolitical tensions and a New
Cold War, they would launch anew label and
give it that name — REFORGER — as asymbol
of readiness to confront contemporary
threats. The immediate trigger for the brand's
creation was Unifeq's (the parent company,
known for uniforms and the ECS Dragon sys-
tem) successful bid to supply special forces
of one NATO country. Inspired by that legacy,
the company designs and delivers advanced
tactical equipment tailored to the realities of
the modern battlespace and the needs of
special operations forces.
The brand motto is "CONFRONT THE
THREAT," intended to reect determination in
the face of danger, belief in the strength of
NATO cooperation, and a commitment to in-
teroperability. All products are designed to
Alliance standards to ensure full compatibili-
ty with the gear used by member states'
militaries.
