The history of TTG began less than a decade ago when a group of fanatics decided to merge the athletic rivalry of CrossFit with firearms proficiency. The premise was brutally simple: shoot under extre- me physical duress. Every stage is a blended challen- ge of intense physical tasks and complex shooting drills. The format was initially aimed at American uniformed services, and for the first few years, they made up the vast majority of participants. Its success and soaring popularity soon drew in civilian shooters, leading to an expansion of competitive categories. The KS Kobe team first went to the Tactical Ga- mes in the USA last year to recon the battlefield— and snag a spot on the podium, a feat they repeated this year. However, success wasn't enough for the guys; after negotiations with TTG leadership, they secured the first-ever TTG "non-USA foothold"— right there in Pawłów this September. Professional Ordnance Delivery JThe match organization was uber-professional. The months leading up to September showed how active and efficient the Pawłów crew is—social me- dia was buzzing, and promotional videos and ads were lurking in every corner of the internet. KS Kobe even hosted preparatory training at their range and released comprehensive guides on their YouTube channel to help competitors understand the objec- tives and prep for the match. I couldn't pass up this opportunity, so I eagerly si- gned up for the fight. TTG offers a wide array of categories, allowing you to choose one that best matches your physical conditioning and... the digits of your birth date! The official match website is a veritable mine of infor- mation that's essential reading before committing to a start. The Tactical Village What awaited the competitors on arri- val? The match truly kicked off on Friday. The Poland Shooting Center had transformed into a real shooting town. A large number of ven- dors and sponsors allowed us to check out the latest gear and firearms innovations. Got an injury mid-match? A team of physiothera- pists and paramedics was on standby. Cate- ring? Coffee between stages? Merch shopping? Absolutely—everything was open and available to competitors for all three days of the event. I sho- uldn't have to mention that this is still not the stan- dard in our country—though it should be! 60 www.fragoutmag.com
