SATURDAY: SATURDAY: DAY 1 BATTLE DAY 1 BATTLE STAGE 2: The Big Pierogi. 15 minutes to com- plete 4 sequences of throwing heavy bags 30/45/68 kg each, 5/3/1 repetitions respecti- vely, over a one meter bar, combined with sho- oting pistol (15 meters distance) and rifle 50 meters) from behind a barricade. The heaviest bag could be subbed for a penalty number of reps with the medium bag. Timed out on the fourth set, but that was predictable. STAGE 3: Trench2Gun. The KS Kobe team was teasing us with this stage for weeks. They went all out and dug a massive network of tren- ches on the range—the only attraction of its kind in the country and an incredible experien- ce. 120 seconds}$, purely shooting, maximum fun! STAGE 4: Bajkrowski. You like CrossFit er- gometers? Well, here are three! 15 minutes of rowing, biking, and skiing. A total of 6 sprints, each for 12 calories. After each sprint, shooting steel target from behind a barricade—switching between pistol at 10 and rifle at 100 meters. Every miss meant a penalty burpee and a jump over a 1 meter box. I finished well within the time limit with literally just a handful of penal- ty reps. I could feel my heart beating in every part of my body, but that was the point. Feeling good! STAGE 5: Wait They Got a Tank? A break from shooting: a four-lap obstacle course with a 10 kg ruck. After a full day, my legs were starting to give out, but I managed to sprint the 4 x100 meters, twice jumping over a one meter wall on each pass. 62 www.fragoutmag.com
