civilian market after the new year. Included with the rifle is a very inte- resting foregrip—a filigree, skeleto- nized aluminum construction that serves as a comfortable grip, hand- stop, and barricade stop. As men- tioned, the handguard has a pattern cut into the metal for grip, but if that isn't enough, the kit includes a set of rubber M-LOK rail covers to in- crease the handguard's volume and create a very comfortable gripping surface. Since there are six QD po- ints, the manufacturer also throws in a high-quality two-point adju- stable sling with two heavy-duty QD swivels. In addition to these extras, the box contains four Troy BattleMag Ge- neration II magazines, though the rifle runs reliably on any M4/M16 standard magazine. Last but not least—the biggest hit among the accessories: folding steel mechani- cal backup iron sights (BUIS) with tritium inserts! These are precision- -made, offer excellent adjustment, and are night-fight ready—not the cheap Far East plastic sights often thrown in as an afterthought. Es- sentially, for less than $2500 here in Poland, you get a weapon that is range-ready out of the box. RANGE PERFORMANCE So, how does it shoot?. The rifle's mechanisms operate smoothly— charging the weapon doesn't require excessive force, and the safety engages positively with a tactile "click" in both positions. When shouldering the Troy, one appreciates the handguard length, which is sufficient for most sho- oters; only very tall individuals with long arms might complain, but those types complain about anything without an 18" barrel and corresponding rail. The low-pro- file handguard is truly comforta- ble, particularly for shooters with smaller hands, including women. The surface texture is not just aesthetic; it provides a very stable grip. Installing the rail covers is trivial—they simply snap into the M-LOK slots and can be trimmed to size. With the covers, the hand- guard "swells" slightly, providing a very secure and comfortable palm swell. Adding the foregrip further enhances comfort. I per- sonally liked the grip—li- ght, unobtrusive, and functional as a front stop. The B5 SOPMOD stock needs little introduction; I've liked this profile for years. While it is heavier than a Magpul MOE, it is highly valued by many shooters for its cheek weld. Despite the B5 stock, the rifle rema- ins light at 2.9 kg. The pistol grip is ergonomic and provides great trac- tion, though I personally prefer more vertical grips and might swap it for a MSBS/GROT A2 grip. The inc- luded sling is perfectly adequate for anyone not looking to spend absurd amounts on "fancy" brand-name slings. It is well-made and features heavy-duty QD connectors rather than flimsy counterparts. łoże karabinka widoczny uchwyt i gumowe nakładki dwupunktowe zawieszenie widok karabinka, prawa strona czoło urządzenia wylotowego FIREARMS
