When size is chosen appropriately, the low-viz body armor might be even worn underneath. Main, full front zipper is two-way, coiled YKK zipper sewn inside out. This, combined with internal flap under the zipper provides better protection against elements, like rain, snow or wind. What's even more important – it will not allow for so called thermal bridges effect. Main zipper ends in the stand-up collar where a special "garage" was incorporated to prevent contact of the zipper puller with face or skin. All of the zippers, including pockets, feature the plastic zipper pulls, easy to grab even with gloves on. There are cord pulls for the elastic shock cord hem adjustment in the bottom of the jacket, on the both sides. The stand-up collar mentioned above is reasonably high-walled to protect neck against wind and snow. On the inside it was lined with grid microfleece knit which improves overall thermal comfort as the plain nylon fabric gets colder. Also, the knit will prevent against dirt residue. Inside the collar there is roll-away hood accessed through the horizontal two-way zipper which is quite unique solutions and allows easy use for right and left handed users. Adjustable, helmet sized hood is fully insulated but the total amount of Cli- mashield is lesser than in the torso part. Hood has to adjusting points – hori- zontal one cinching at ear level (elastic shock-cord with cord-lock placed in the center of rear) and vertical sewn into the front edge of the hood, also with shock-cord cord with cord-lock. The ends of the shock-cord are routed inside and they are located at the inside bottom of the side hand-warmer pockets. Sleeves are straight cut, enabling full freedom of movement. The cuffs have a die-cut rubber tabs for adjustment. The cuffs are also elasticized so you don't have to loosen the tab every time you slip the cuffs over your hands. There are large Velcro loop panels sewn on the bicep for all the ID and morale patches.
