REPORT The HK121 General Purpose Machine Gun is currently in evaluations with the German Army as the MG5. Though the weapon fits on all MG3 mounts, Rheinmetall offers a modern and lightweight buffermount for the weapon. The Mercedes Benz 6x6 "Long Range Patrol Vehicle" had its debut at the Eurosatory 2014. Driven by the trusted 135 kW G300 CDI-engine it offers a range of 1000 km and can carry up to six soldiers. The protection level of DIN FB6 can be upgraded to STANAG-level. NEW! The Russian Soldier System RATNIK featuring the C4I-System STRELETS was shown for the first time at Eurosatory. The Russian approach divides the RATNIK/STRELETS in different categories: weapon system, protection system, C4I, life support system and power supply system. The STRELETS can use GPS as well as GLONASS. Commanders on different levels are equipped with additional computers – for example the "Commanding Officer Manpack Kit" (FOM 4b).
