A "user's interface" of the PERAD is very simply and comprises a cut-out switch, a jog dial, and a menu scroll
bar. A menu of a radio station may be presented in the audio form (a basic form) or on the display of the
attached device. A radio station has an in-built system of the self-control with a voice information for a user.
The
PERAD cooperates with a majority of the headset systems, both earphones and active hearing protectors
(wire and wireless), and a producer is able to make suitable adapters practically for any set.
A new WB ElEcTRONicS RADiO STATiON iS vERy EASy TO HANDlE – one needs just a
few minutes to master basic functions necessary for a user. A voice menu is very clear so there is really no need
to visualise it, and a minimum amount of switches makes handling substantially intuitive after a few moments.
When you turn it on and chose an appropriate channel a device does not require any other operations to estab-
lish communications – even pressing the PTT, as long as such an operating mode is chosen. The PERAD informs,
by an audio signal, a user about detection of interruptions in the chosen communication channel.
