Ops-Core helmets provide head protection against low speed impact trauma in an extreme range of temperature conditions when subjected
to stringent US Army testing requirements. FAST Maritime pass the U.S. Army ACH specification for chin strap retention and non-ballistic
impact protection for less than 150Gs of force imparted to head with multiple impacts up to 3,05 m/s or 10 fps and less than 200Gs of force
imparted to head with multiple impacts up to 4,27 m/s or 14 fps. It was also tested against the CE EN1385 and ASTM F1492 standards.
Helmet shell is also resistant against top to bottom (180 kgs or 400 lbs) and side to side compression (136 kgs or 300 lbs). It is resistant to
oil, fuel, gasoline, hydraulic fluid, CPL, seawater immersion, low and high temperatures (from -51 to +71°C or -60°F to 160°F) and flame
(self-extinguishing).
