much more stable on the head than the standard harness,
especially when you are running NVG's cantilevered off your
head. There are some troubles when communication headset
with classic headband is used – it might be uncomfortable to
wear through the extended period of time for some users
(depending on the head shape).
For more demanding user, FAST Maritime might be fitted
with the Lux Liner which is a revolutionary suspension system
that combines a one-piece full coverage impact layer with
modular, breathable comfort pads that can be customized
and repositioned for comfort without affecting impact per-
formance.
It will provide even more stability with night vision devices.
There are five units of pads and 23 pads in total.
They are far softer and more comfortable than the usual EPP
impact pads found in the standard suspension system. The
Lux Liner might be fitted with Worm Dial headband or with
the standard H-shaped headstraps. Liner can also be pur-
chased as an upgrade kit for legacy FAST Ballistic High Cut
helmet.
