Century – the presenCe of eleCtroniCs in our life is so high,
that in many Cases it is hard to imagine living without it. yet,
there are individuals who are able to take Care of themselves
without modern "gadgets". there are times, however, the eleC-
troniCs are essential (for example in modern Combat) or help-
ful in extreme situations (in survival or tourism).
Unfortunately, all of those electronic shiny beauties - comms, GPSs, advanced optics, tactical lights, surveillance devices, tablets, toughbooks,
cameras, cellphones etc. – have one major disadvantage. They are powered by electricity. It is not such a big problem if this are standard,
disposable cells or if user is able to charge them either from power grid (hardly common in survival situation and even during the war it may
happen only occasionally), from electricity generator or, last but not least, from vehicle electrical system. What to do in case you have an
electric device, you need to use it and there is no chance to change cells or you are out of them, and you can only dream about power outlet ?
There are Three ways: suck it up and live without power, seat and cry or get yourself an alternate power source,
for instance solar (there is fourth – take power bank with you, it will help for a while).
