powertraveller powermonkey extreme taCtiCal kit inCluding solar panel, power bank and set of aCCessories (eleCtriCity Charger, wires, adapters) is one of the pre-paCked Cots solutions to your needs. whaT is iT? This kit is dedicated for field use and harsh conditions – it is called "Extreme" for a reason, as it is strengthened, secured against shocks and humidity (it complies with IP67 and it is resistant to 1m water submerssion for 30 min). It is also "Tactical" because of its Coyote Brown or black color and its dedication for "The Force" users. Power bank is a lIThIUm-PolymEr BaTTEry (lI-Po) WITh 9000 mah capacity, packed into snappy plastic, inverted flat T shape case. Device dimensions are 155x60x28 mm and it weights 254 g. at the top of the case, lCD (liquid Crystal Display) and recessed control touch panel are mounted. Display shows percentage charge status – at full charge it is green 99 number, when battery is empty it turns to red and with low battery status additionally battery icon is blinking. In addition, the display shows battery charging – with line "walking" around the display edge. The display is NVD-compatible. The touch panel is the control unit for the kit – swiping a finger to the right turns it on, to the left turns it off. Taping it in the middle shows the charge level on the display, taping it on the left hand side turns on the auto-off, and taping on the right hand side deactivates this feature. Connecting a charger to the device, both electrical and solar, automatically initiates charging process, but to power attached device, the kit must be turned on. Just attaching the device you want to power, does not turn the kit on – it is something to remember, to avoid an unpleasant surprise. www.fragoutmag.com
