The Ops-core FAST helmets became standard in elite teams. Truly modular constructions, comfortable
and stable suspension system paired with minimum weight were just few of the main factors leading
to their widespread adoption. The legendary Naval Special Warfare Development Group (aka DEVGRU
aka DEV aka SEAL Team Six) asked Ops-Core to develop modified version of the legacy helmet and
that's how FAST Maritime was born. Since official debut in 2012 it has gained more and more popula-
rity among high-speed low-drag operators.
DEVGRU operators requested lighter version of their legacy FAST High Cut Helmet, with smaller head
coverage and compatible with wide range of different communication headsets they were using.
With the full list of the requirements, they went to Ops-Core and together they have designed the
FAST Maritime helmet.
