REPORT Air transportable, small, versatile and optionally protected high mobility vehicles have become very popular with today's special operation forces. On display at General Dynamics was the armoured version of the Flyer, the internally transportable vehicle/light strike vehicle. The German company FFG has developed the Pro- tected Mission Module Carrier PMMC G5. Highly protected, the 26,5 tons vehicle offers a top speed of 74 km/h and range of up to 1000 km. The remote controlled weapon station FLW 200 plus is armed with the RH202 20 mm automatic cannon. Krauss-Maffei Wegmann and Rhein- Fighting Vehicle Puma is in series Eurosatory 2014 the vehicle on trials very successfully. The Puma automatic cannon which is capable of Towed by a vessel with a speed of 20 knots the SEA SAFE E1 anti piracy float rotates around 200 revolutions per minute. A chain of those blade-armed plastic floats positioned around a sailing vessel can pose a danger to pirates giving the crew time to react. The Sea Safe E1 can be used for harbor protection also.
