Air transportable, small, versatile and optionally protected high mobility
vehicles have become very popular with today's special operation forces.
On display at General Dynamics was the armoured version of the Flyer, the
internally transportable vehicle/light strike vehicle.
The German company FFG has developed the Pro-
tected Mission Module Carrier PMMC G5. Highly
protected, the 26,5 tons vehicle offers a top speed
of 74 km/h and range of up to 1000 km. The remote
controlled weapon station FLW 200 plus is armed with
the RH202 20 mm automatic cannon.
