equipped.pl in same time as our friend super from survivaltech, equipped.pl tactical & outdoor gear blog was also given the war's knife.
our sample has different color of handle and kydex sheath instead of leather one – his was more like combat-utility knife and think about our as
survival tool because of its bright orange color, almost fluorescent, sheath and handle. it makes the knife hard to loose in the woods and make it
looks less tactical and more like emergency tool. if someone does not like the flashy orange – take a spray paint and you're good to go. the only real
difference in knife itself are pins keeping handle attached to the blade tang – our are plain black instead of riveted ones.
as it was mentioned above – the difference in the set is the scabbard or sheath. we have received bi-tone blaze orange black combo sheath from im-
pact resistant kydex thermoplastic. on the bottom there is kydex plate with nylon loop for belts up to 60 mm wide. as a standard it comes suited for
right-hand users as most of the population. since the plate is mounted to the sheath with two screws it might be easily removed with screw-driver
by those – like us – who prefer other mounting options than belt loop. also, plate might be mounted on both side of the sheath – for south paws,
manufacturer does not have to offer two different scabbards as just this part might be swapped for the one for the lefties. the pattern of drilled
holes in the sheath makes it compatible with ever-popular tek-lok mount that allows for multiple carry options over the belt loop. sheath weights
about 91 grams – it's pretty light and not cumbersome.
