to examIne the wounded however, you wIll need some tIme, a place and a lIttle bIt of calm. Initial, basic plan of action will include few small tasks: 1. Do NoT SToP fire and find some cover; 2. Give directions to the wounded and exPeCT him to engage in combat, if it is possible; 3. DIReCT the wounded to cover a sector and demand from him to conduct self-help, if it is possible; 4. TRy to secure wounded against additional danger; 5. evACUATe wounded from burning buildings or vehicles and move him / her to safe place. If possible, stop burns process; 6. Patent airway postpone to the next phase (TFC); 7. SToP life hazard external bleedings, if possible: • Bleeding control by wounded, if possible, • Use TCCC recommended bleeding control stripe, which is anatomically related to tourniquet location, • Use tourniquet close to the bleeding place, on uniform, tighten it up and move wounded to safe place.
