REPORT BY: Michał SitarSki Potential exhibitors again found a purpose in participation in the exposition, counting on attention of the conference's partici- pants. The theme of the event has been changed again to "Advanced technologies in the defense and security". This year, comparing with last year's edition, the attendance was up a little bit, but is still far from the heydays in 2008 and 2010. The progress is nevertheless a noticeable one. The "Future Forces" exhibition was not an eye opener, yet some jewels could still be found. Quite a few major players exhibited their produce including NFM, Meindl, Primaloft, Source or Revision. The Ceska Zbrojowka absence was surprising, albeit the Czech Armed Forces have already decided to buy CZ805 Bren rifles. The CZ "rules" the national market and the exhibition in Prague lacks decision-making attendees from abroad, so the company's showcase was not reasonable. On the other hand there was an exhibition of the Czech Armed Forces, where Mi – 17 helicopter equipped with two miniguns mounted at the side doors was the focal point. Was travel to Prague worthwhile? Yes, because, apart from everything, some innovative products could still be found, not mention Prague is a really beautiful city with good, inexpensive beer and its unique cuisine.
