the only booth with firearms at Future Forces 2014 was owned by czech company luvo Prague ltd. the main featured product was .308 nato semi-auto precision rifle la-10 sniPer family, similar in its design to us m-110 semi-automatic sniper system (sass), with extended handguard with four mil-std-1913 accessory rails – the top rail is also on the upper receiver. most of the rifle parts are made of 7056 t6 anodized aluminum. the la-10 has adjustable polymer stock with adjustable cheek stock. in the basic version, the la-10 comes with meopta optics zd 3-12x50 bzP variable optical sight and nv-mag/1b clip-on night vision device. la-10 is fed from 10 or 20 round magazines. total weight of basic rifle with 20 inch barrel is around 5,5 kilograms, the 1030 mm overall length. la-10 comes also in .338 variant and with different barrels from 14,5" up to 24". LuVo has also different firearms in their offer, including flagship la-15 and la-16 (ar-15/m-4 based) assault rifles and carbines in multiple length and caliber variant but also the 40mm gl40mk1 grenade launchers in both stand-alone and under-barrel versions. gl40mk1 is capable to fire 40x46mm low velocity (lv) and medium velocity (mv) ammu- nition. grenade launcher has 230 mm long barrel and weights 1010 grams. due to its left side opening barrel, which allows a simple injection and extraction of the grenade, it can use various lengths of ammunition including longer 40 mm grenades. www.fragoutmag.com
