Pening under the honorary Patronage of PreSi-
dent of the rePublic of Poland.
According to Targi Kielce official summary, the 2014 edition was the
largest in both aspects – largest exhibitors and visitors numbers.
Over 25000 square meters of exhibition space, more than 500 exhi-
bitors from 27 countries, including Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech
Republic, Estonia, Finland, India, Israel just to mention the few and
some more exotic like Japan, South Korea or Brazil. Official visitors
headcount was more than 15000 visitors. These numbers set the
MSPO as a third European defense trade show, just after Eurosatory
in Paris and DSEI in London.
One of the exhibiting halls was dedicated for the Polish Armed
Forces and another one was fully dedicated to newly formed
PGZ aka Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (Polish Armaments Group in
English). The rest of exhibitors took four exhibiting halls and outdo-
or exhibiting space were vehicles and helicopters were shown.
What might be interesting, this year we could not spot any tank.
The trade show was dominated by helicopters manufacturers be-
cause Polish Armed Forces announced tender for advanced multi-
-role helicopter back in 2014 and now world's biggest players are
interested to get a contract for deliveries.
The number of novelties was relatively low as it is truly hard to
develop new vehicle, tank or even assault rifle in twelve months.

and interesting pieces of equipment shown during the MSPO 2014.
Sure, we could miss something but that was really busy trade show
