As in the case of smaller models, a design of
the Arc'teryx LEAF Khard 60 is similar to a
design of the outdoor backpacks and complies
with a common trend of creating "low-profile"
equipment – with a less aggressive design
which does not attract attention of the outside
observers. The Khard 60 was created as a result
of feedback from the snipers of one German
police units who wanted a pack which could
allow concealed carrying of a rifle or carbine
– Khard 45 was too short and apart from a
SMG's or disassembled carbine, nothing more
could be accommodated.
