F a b R i c S A torso of the UF PRO® Delta winter combat shirt was made from... coconuts. Almost – it was used a densely woven polyamide fabric created in the Cocona® technol- ogy where during a manufacturing process is used acti- vated charcoal extracted from coconut shells. Knitwear is flashy, flexible and very well fits to the user's silhouette – no folds create which in the long-term use can cause skin abrasions. What is interesting, Cocona® micro fleece perfectly moves moisture out, quickly dries out, does not allow a growth of bacteria therefore fabric does not smell bad for longer time and thanks to a patented technolog- ical process does not lose its valuable properties while washed. Arms and sleeves of the shirt were made from the light- weight water-resistant nylon fabric with the ripstop struc- ture, coated with the DWR repellent causing pearling water on the surface. The inside part of these elements is filled with a layer of two-component (polyester plus polypropylene, with additional shield from a thin layer of aluminium) G Loft synthetic insulation with a weight of 110 g/m2 from micro fibres. This insulation was de- veloped by the Austrian company Goldeck Textil GmbH, and it is mostly known from Carinthia brand clothing and sleeping bags, in which it is commonly used. All zippers used in the UF PRO® shirt are manufactured by YKK. CLOTHING AND UNIFORMS
