In a part of the hobby that is very much about accurately representing a certain kind of unit we have a firm belief that gear alone simply doesn't cut it. That is where we differ from many of our peers in that we demand a high level of physical fitness, effective weapons handling and tactics. All of our members are physically active and we regularly train to improve our skills. As we are not affiliated with military or law enforcement (although we have trained with such units in the past), our training regimen is derived from extensive study of material related to this and similar units in various ways - directly or indirectly - and modified to suit our specific needs. One of the most common questions we get is why we choose to hide our faces. Contrary to a belief that we are trying to emulate PERSEC though, we are people with various careers; some of which unfortunately don't meddle too well with an overt practice of the politically sensitive hobby that this sometimes can be. That said, most people generally focus on the gear, which is obviously a very enjoyable part of the hobby which brings together military and civilians alike. For us, gear is not as much for collection as it is for efficiency. Although we do tend to limit ourselves to what we know the unit would use we test everything thoroughly in order for our setups to be as functional as possible. This has lead us to come up with some interesting solutions along the way, some of which also found their way to active duty personnel. In order to be able to respond to any scenario we encounter during events we always bring the equipment needed for any situation. In most cases, that is covered by direct action gear, recon gear, civilian attire and indigenous clothing as well as any equipment which might be relevant to the mission. REENACTING
