makes FSV WILK an interesting option capable of
significantly increasing combat potential of motor-
ized infantry battalions.
Analyzing the usefulness of new weapon system,
such as FSV WILK, it is necessary to broaden the
area of research beyond classic engagements be-
tween tank and infantry battalions and brigades.
Current events in neighboring Ukraine force us to
reconsider an idea of implementation such weap-
on systems in the existing structures. Wide variety
of threats in similar armed conflicts, often called
"hybrid", as well as vast area of operations, require
from military units a procession of extensive capa-
bilities and flexibility in operation.
The Fire Support Vehicle WILK equipped with tur-
ret with 105 mm cannon, provides such capabil-
ities. Large caliber of its cannon allows the use
of large variety of ammunition. Aside from typi-
cal high explosive (HE) and armor-piercing (AP),
it is possible to use other, more sophisticated and
advanced, types of ammunition. High elevation
