The helmet lining and suspensions comprises of eight adjustable shock-absorbing pads. It should be fairly admitted that in terms of the comfort they do not hold ground from the renowned manufacturers. A kit consists of two large (front and occipital) and six smaller pads. There is no single crown pad but instead of this are applied two other, identical as side ones. A good solu- tion, especially in the case of using the headset active hearing protectors, but a cooperation with the HA-03 causes problems because of the shell shape. A helmet suspension is a very interesting element since it is the slightly modified Team Wendy Cam Fit Retention System (CFR). The suspension is equipped with the nape pad with BOA Closure System enabling user to adjust the size of the helmet. The BOA is supported on the above mentioned pad and on the two levels of the interior, adjusted by it straps connected with the temporal straps of the lining in the common point of attachment. Both the temporal and occipital straps are regulated at length by the comfortable slippers with the off-centre buckles. Chinstrap is lined for better comfort. In relation to the original CFR system, the one used in airborne helmet was modified. Firstly – the fe- male and male buckles were exchanged in their places, secondly – according to tender requirements, the safety buckle was add- ed. It is a metal buckle which after unblocking enables a stabile maintaining a helmet on the head but when one tries to pull it from the rear side (e.g. during a hand-to-hand open fight) – it unbuckles. It is applied in the standard issue wz.2005 helmets as a standard, so it is transferred also to the HA-03. Unfortunately, it slightly interfered a course of the lining stripes and the forces distribution therefore a chin basket arranges in the other man- ner as in the original CFR. HEAD PROTECTION
