The radio case is made of aluminum alloy and the bat- tery cover placed at the lower part – of plastic. RADMOR R35010 is very com- pact, its dimensions are: height – 115 mm (180 mm with antenna), width – 69 mm, thickness – 33 mm, and its mass is 290 g including two AA power-packs or batteries. On the front panel a transmit button is placed. It is recessed at about 2 mm and has 13 mm in diameter. The button is protected against accidental pressing by a plastic "hump" located above it. Below there is a speaker and a microphone. On the top of the R35010 case there is an in-built AUDIO socket for attaching microphone, headset or other accessories, DATA socket for connecting the fill- gun, a volume control switch (three levels) with the knob to select one of the 16 channels and an antenna slot. If the AUDIO and DATA sockets are not used, they can be covered by protecting lids attached on cords. On the rear panel there are screws' sockets for attach- ing additional belt clip The bottom surface of the casing is the battery com- partment cover with electrical contacts, which allows charging batteries in a stationary charger without having to remove them from the transceiver. The kit also includes a cover with MOLLE/PALS web- bing and a special armband for fixing the cover on soldier in the absence of an appropriate mounting system. Optionally R35010 can be equipped with the aforementioned vehicular adapter, other types of covers, a clip to attach the radio to a belt or a charg- er for one or 10 radio stations. The latter, thanks to the electrical contacts in the cover of the battery compartment, allows for charging batteries without removing them from the transceiver. www.fragoutmag.com
