OG-107 boxer shorts. Worn under tropical combat uniform together with OG t-shirts. Cotton muslin Standard issue cushion sole socks. OG-408 color. Wool, cotton & nylon mix. Often used to carry c-rats cans on LBE. Tropical Combat Uniform, 3rd pattern, lightweight poplin cotton fabric. Full color 101st Airborne Division badge on left shoulder. Full color patches were banned for field use by higher command but all soldiers wore them against the official rules (contrary to "Hamburger Hill" movie). Jacket has local-made directly embroidered name and U.S. ARMY branch in place of standard issue webbing tapes. TCU uniforms were manufactured in four variants with different cut and fabric. In late phase conflict, TCU uniforms in ERDL camouflage pattern were introduced. www.fragoutmag.com
