aircraft of this class is a result of the explo-
itation experiences acquired during using
the PZL Mielec M-28B1R (seven each) and
the PZL Mielec M-28B1RM Bryza-Bis (one
each).
As far as the flying radar spots fulfil they their
role, but the upgraded M-28B1RM showed
that a modernisation potential of the aircraft
has reached its end. In the theory an aircraft
can still fulfil a full spectrum of the assumed
tasks, although the payload restrictions cau-
se that before a flight it must be decided if
it will be used for reconnaissance or ASW
role. Moreover, issue of the fuel reserve on
board should be taken into account.
Besides the Boeing MSA, the other poten-
tial aircraft supplier of this class may be the
Airbus Corporation with C-295 Persuader, a
specialty variant of the well-known C-295M
light transport aircraft, which are currently
used in Polish Air Forces. Some point out
