The bull-pup variant of MSBS rifle, the MSBS-5,56B is still in
development phase – the MSBS system would not be com-
plete with bull-pup and the under-barrel 40 mm grenade
launcher. The target, full system will consist of eleven vari-
ants: six will be based on standard variant (full size assault
rifle, assault rifle with grenade launcher, short-barreled rifle,
magazine-fed infantry assault rifle, designated marksman
rifle, honor guard rifle) plus another five based on bull-pup
variant (full size assault rifle, assault rifle with grenade
launcher, short-barreled rifle, magazine-fed infantry assault
rifle, designated marksman rifle). There are also concepts to
develop 12 gauge automatic shotgun based on MSBS and the
7,62x39 caliber rifle.
