and a hydraulic control system of suspen-
sion travel (what is interesting, the same
as in the Leopard 2 tanks). Its suspension
travel is of −15/+15 cm. A clearance to
the body bottom is of 540 mm, and to
the lowest element of the suspension –
345 mm. The vehicle moves on the wheels
with the tubeless tires in the 385/80R20 size
with a central system of the tire inflation and of
run flat type which enable further moving after sho-
oting them.
ARMAMENT An armament of the AMPV can be as-
sembled on the remotely controlled weapon station
(4-person crew) or in the turret controlled by the
operator (5-person crew). It can be either equipped
with a heavy machine gun, a machine gun or 40mm
automatic grenade launcher. Moreover, it can be
fitted with laser warning systems, Rapid Obscurant
System Rosy (high-performance smoke obscurant
system) or the surveillance systems – all is depen-
ded on the user request. The presented variant was
unarmed and the final configuration of POLSOCOM
vehicle will be shown in September 2015.
