Probably the most frequently used function is an alarm. An alarm hour is set on the miniature dial pla- ced above 6. hour on the dial. However, one should remember that an alarm hour is set in relation to the reference time, and not with regard to the time po- inted by the watch hands. The reference time is set on the same dial as the alarm. It is independent from the main time – it is the best to remember about synchronizing both times while setting the watch. The Team Leader is a watch with a chronometer, that is an advanced stopper, which enables counting se- conds, minutes, hours and intermediate and interval timings There are two buttons placed on the both sides of the crown to serve them. While reading a time one should remember that a minute and hour indicator operates in the 30-minute mode. It means that a full circulation of the minute hand is of 30 mi- nutes, and then an hour hand moves forward by a half of the measure. After the next 30 minutes it will indicate a flow of the full hour. Besides the above functions the watch allows also for measuring a speed of walking/running. For this purpose, one should enable a stopper and walk/run a distance of 50 m, and then disable a stopper. The reading is made from the scale marked just above the hour markers on the dial – the is a possibility to measure the velocities from 3 up to 25 km per hour. If you have such a need it is possible to check up time in the other time zone. The rotational bezel with the town names and a 24-hour scale serves to do it. In order to establish time in the other time zone, one should set a town name from the current time zone straight ahead a number on the 24-hour scale which corresponds to the actual full hour. After performing this operation, you can check up the ti- mes from the other time zones – just have a look above which hour on the scale is set a town name from the selected time zone. The bezel can be also used to cunt a time, e.g. of diving. For this purpose, the 0 point of the bezel sho- uld be set above the minute hand and one should count flowing seconds. Unfortunately, there is no minute scale on it, as for instance in Luminox 3050 series so one must count literally. Certainly, the Luminox Team Leader, as every ana- logue watch, can be also used for determining the directions of the world, according to the general ru- les. A kind of facilitation will be a rough setting of the azimuth using a scale marked on the bezel. The last function of the watch, or actually its strap, is a me- asurement of the length and distance on the map according to the measures and scales marked on it. EDC GEAR
